Tiny Diamonds and the Clovis People

Another article from the Arizona Republic may be of interest to some of you, as it deals with the Clovis people, at least to some extent. The article, by Joel Achenbach, appeared in the front section of the Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 paper, and is entitled "Scientists: Tiny diamonds back ancient comet-theory". Basically the theory is that a giant comet impacted the earth some 12,900 years ago which wiped out the Clovis population, among other things. Some nanodiamonds found across the country supposedly form the evidence. Fascinating stuff!
