I know that our members have a long-standing interest in all things Egyptian so it is only natural that we have a place for you to exchange thoughts and ideas about Egyptian culture and archaeology. Several members have traveled to Egypt, and some on a regular basis. Here is a place for the give and take between members with similar interests - have fun!

This is wonderful Joan - thank you for posting it! Your work on Set is very interesting indeed, and I think our fellow members would agree. Do you sell your artworks? I wonder if there's a way we can set something up at an upcoming meeting, perhaps especially our lecture on Hierakonpolis. Would you be interested?
The Brooklyn Museum is such a beautiful collection - one of my best friends works there. Many thanks again for your post - I hope other members enter into discussion about your research, and your art!
Yes, I'd be interested in having some artwork there!
Lucky friend that works among such lovely pieces! (It was funny when I was photographing everything, the guard took special note. Apparently no one ever does that...) Odd, because at the Met museum, people are always photographing things.
The Arizona chapter of ARCE (American Research Center in Egypt) will be hosting a lecture by Egyptologist from the University of Memphis, Dr. Sozanne Onstine, on February 12 at 6 pm in Tucson. Additionally, the next lecture scheduled for the AZ ARCE will be presented by chapter president, Dr. Gonzalo Sanchez, and will focus on the Battle of Kadesh.
